I’m reading Michael Ende’s book, «Η Μόμο» (translated to Greek from the original German). Although I’ve only read the first third of the book, so far I think it is great! I recommend it if you are at a B2+ reading level.
Here’s why:
One note: There is one section that has a good bit of nautical vocabulary. I needed to look up lots of words to be able to fully understand that section, but it was well worth the effort.
«Φτάσαμε» is my favorite program on ERTFLIX!

Are you an intermediate or advanced learner of the Greek Language? Looking for interesting podcasts to listen to? I suggest moving from listening to podcasts made for Greek language learners to ones that are made for native Greek speakers.

Do you have a favorite podcast you are listening to? Please share! I’m always looking for more to listen to.
Check out the resources at the website My E-Library! It has tons of resources at a variety of levels for both children and adults learning the Greek language. I highly recommend it!
Some of what you can find there:
Yep, I have a favorite workbook series for Greek language exercises! My favorite books? The Ελληνικά Α, Ελληνικά Β and Ελληνικά Γ books (Εκδόσεις Πατάκη). Are you looking for a series of workbooks to help you improve your Greek or to prepare for the Greek language exam? I highly recommend these books!!
Here’s why I like the series:
One tiny thing I don’t like about the books is the title Ελληνικά Γ. I find it confusing because the book is for B2 and not for the Γ level of tests.
If you’ve tried these books, what is your favorite part?
I had a hard time knowing when to use «ότι» or «που» when I wanted to say “that.” Then I learned a few phrases like «χαίρομαι που» and «συγγνώμη που», but I still made tons of mistakes.
Then I found this video from Linguatree titled, “After this video, you won’t make this mistake again”. After 6 minutes, my problems with «που» and «ότι» were solved!
Thank you Linguatree!
